Intro Class

Textbook> Intro Class – ‘Hangul Basic Start’ – Ministry of Science and Technology, Overseas Koreans Education Promotion Foundation

The Intro Class is for students who are the first to learn Korean.
The Intro Class are assigned based on the language environment and age of the students.
The Intro Class focus on teaching children to interest and curiosity about learning Korean as a foreign language.

Basic Class

Textbook> Basic Class – ‘Hangul Basic Final’ – Ministry of Science and Technology, Overseas Koreans Education Promotion Foundation

In the Basic Class, students who have completed the Pre-Basic class combine consonants and easy vowels, final consonants, and difficult vowels to create syllables, words, and sentences so that they can read and write.
In the Basic Class use basic textbooks and self-developed supplementary materials at Bethel Korean School to improve communication-oriented basic Korean language learning.

Beginner Class

Textbooks> Beginner Class – Korean School Korean 1-6 – Ministry of Science and Technology, Overseas Koreans Education Promotion Foundation

The Beginner Class is consist of students with basic Korean language skills and is divided into three levels: beginner 1, 2, and 3.
Students can learn words, phrases, and grammar through dialogues that they can use in their everyday lives.
Students are aimed at learning various expressions and developing the Korean language skills in the ‘listening / speaking, reading and writing’section.

초급 1

Intermediate Class

Textbooks> Intermediate Class – Korean 4,5,6 – Korean Educational Research Institute, International Education Promotion Agency

The Intermediate Class consists of three levels: Intermediate level 4, 5 and 6.
According to the ‘expression-understanding’ learning process of each stage, Intermediate Class aims to improve communication skills in Korean and expand understanding of Korean society and culture.

중급 2

Advanced Class

Textbook> Advanced Class – Korean 7,8 – Korean Educational Research Institute, Korea International Education Development Agency

The Advanced Class learns Korean literature by learning advanced vocabulary and various sentence patterns such as ‘poems, essays, travel texts, theater scripts, proverbs’ and so on. At the same time, students aim to deepen their interest and understanding of Korean culture, history and society.
